Freebie Friday – Microsoft Workspace
Online Document Sharing
Microsoft Office Live Workspace is a FREE online document sharing/collaboration service. Recently, I’m hearing a theme with clients, colleagues, friends and family often with my clients that they are trying to find ways to cut costs and increase income and I’m sure that rings home for most of you as well.
If you ever find yourself sending documents back and forth via email for feedback, collaboration or especially if you have a team working on a big project, this is a nice tool with no fees attached. Here are some of the features I found interesting:
- Works with MS Shared View to allow you to share, review and update documents with multiple people in real time.
- Save documents to your account and access them online from any computer.
- Get feedback on a report, project or presentation.
- Working on a big project with a team of colleagues? Then you can update project deadlines, tasks and delegate assignments without scheduling a meeting or relying on email.
- Have a big meeting or event coming up? Share the agenda, minutes and action tasks. Upload handouts or presentations. Post notes or assignments after the meeting.
If you decide to give it a try or already have experience with it let us know what you think of it in the comments section.
Happy file sharing!

It seems that the link is broken.
Google does the same thing (with document sharing) for a while now… A lot of Project Managers currently use their features (Google’s).
