Promote Your Teleseminar So That More People Will Find You
Promoting your teleseminars can be done in several different ways. Whether your call will be a paid or free teleseminar, you will want to let as many people as possible know that it is available. Here are some ideas on how you can successfully promote your upcoming teleseminar to as many people as possible.
- Send an email blast out to everyone on your list. Do this a week or so before the teleseminar is scheduled and then send out more emails leading up to the actual day of the event. I find that if I send one the day before and then another email a few hours before I have the best chance of getting them on the call. I am also promoting myself during this entire time.
- Be a guest on other people’s teleseminars in the weeks leading up to your call. This will give you a chance to promote yourself and your teleseminar to a new group of prospects.
- Use social networking sites such as Ning, MySpace, and Facebook to promote your teleseminar. Each of these sites has a feature that allows you to announce upcoming events. Also, don’t forget about Craig’s List. You can choose one city and promote your event there for three days before it occurs.
- There are also offline methods to promote your teleseminars. You may want to take out an ad in your local newspaper or in a magazine that is read by people who may be interested in your topic. Direct mail may also be useful if you already have a list of names and addresses of people who have previously shown interest in what you do or are already clients.
- Blog about your upcoming teleseminar. By talking about it on your blog for a few weeks before the event and leading right up to the day of the event, you can build excitement and generate interest in your call.
These are just a few ways to promote your teleseminars. I encourage you to learn more about holding teleseminars for your business.
