Local Résumé Writer earns coveted TORI Award
(October 24, 2007 – Queensland, Australia) – When Career Directors International held its annual conference in San Antonio, TX last week, the official winners this year’s TORI Awards (Toast of the Résumé Industry) were announced. Local résumé writer, Beverley Neil, of d’Scriptive Words, has won the top prize for Best Résumé in the category of Best International Résumé.
CDI’s President Laura DeCarlo, proudly states, “Winning a TORI Award represents the pinnacle of résumé writing expertise within the industry. Being recognized as “one of the best” by your peers is an accolade that very few get to savor. Professional résumé writers submitted entries for the TORI Awards in late May, and a panel of the industry’s top writers was selected to judge the submissions. Up to 5 entries were nominated in each category, and CDI officers made the final ruling.
